Our 2008 Beneficiary: Child Care Associates

This year, All About Omaha's Board of Directors selected Child Care Associates (CCA) as the Torchlight Ball beneficiary.  Child Care Associates (CCA) is a non-profit with governance and oversight for the Spellman Child Development Center on the College of St. Mary campus. CCA fundraises for tuition assistance, bridging the gap between state assistance (Title XX) and Center tuition for low income families, many of them mothers in College of St. Mary's Mothers Living and Learning (MLL) program. MLL is an innovative residential option for currently unmarried women with children who would like to pursue their college degree while living on campus. CCA strives to promote high quality early childhood education community wide, make available scholarships for those that can least afford quality early childhood education, and collaborate with other organizations in providing it. CCA truly makes a difference in the lives of children and families in our community.
